1 cup apple cider or grape juice
1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup white-wine vinegar
Instructions:
In a small pot, combine apple cider and sugar. Simmer until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in vinegar. Chill in refrigerator several hours.
To serve, fill four large wine glasses with shaved ice. Pour mixture evenly over ice. Serve immediately to four.
