Drunken Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

2 large ripe bananas cut into 1-inch slices 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 cups diced fresh pineapple 2 teaspoons grated ginger root 2 teaspoons grenadine 1/2 cup orange-flavored liqueur Mint sprigs

Instructions:

Sprinkle banana slices with lemon juice. Place in a serving bowl. Add pineapple. In a cup combine ginger, grenadine and liqueur. Pour over fruit. Mix gently but well. Chill 2 to 3 hours.Garnish with mint sprigs.

Makes 8 servings.

Note: Recipe can be doubled.
